Although the building and grounds are owned by Northumbrian Water, the Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers. We can never have too many volunteers for the number of tasks involved in operating the station, such as painting, cleaning, stoking the boilers, staffing the teashop, writing and distributing posters (and Web pages!). If you feel that you can help in any way please contact the museum (see below). You do not have to commit yourself to regular attendance - perhaps a few times a year would be a real help.
